Bubble Totem is a match-three bubble shooter game with hundreds of levels set across different worlds.
Is Bubble Totem just another bubble shooter?
Bubble Totem differs very little in terms of gameplay from games such as Bubble Shooter, Bubble Shoot, Bubble Blast, Bubble Birds, etc. In fact, it brings nothing new to the table whatsoever, delivering less than many of these games in terms of interesting tweaks on the genre (there are no special bubbles or power-ups, for example).
That said, this doesn't mean that Bubble Totem is a terrible game - far from it - it's a highly addictive match-three game with enough challenge to keep you entertained for hours. It just lacks anything in the way of originality.
The controls for Bubble Totem are very straightforward. All you need to do is tap the part of the screen where you want to aim and fire the colored bubble. You can swap your bubble with the next one in the basket by touching it (it's not possible to swap back).
Graphically, Bubble Totem is very good. The backgrounds are bright and well drawn and the colored balls have a spherical feel to them. However, there's little variety with the backgrounds, and there's only one per world. The music in Bubble Totem sounds good but again, it's very repetitive.
Bubble Totem is nothing more than an average bubble shooting game. It looks nice and is fun to play but don't expect to be blown away by it.
